Alumni Center

Situated on the southern end of campus, the Sacramento State Alumni Center is owned and operated by the Alumni Association, a non-profit corporation that offers use of the facility to the public. The Center is host to numerous conferences, special events, private parties and weddings. Its collegiate setting, Tuscan colonnades, lavish windows, sophisticated lighting and sound system make it a venue unique in ambiance and suited for every occasion, large or small.

Catering

The Alumni Center is equipped with a catering kitchen. Food may not be cooked on the premises, however clients may choose from a list of approved caterers. (Menus for each caterer can be viewed on their website.)

Directions

From the West:
Proceed East on Hwy 50. Exit at Howe/Power Inn Road. Stay in the right lane, and turn right at first opportunity, before reaching Power Inn Road. Go under freeway on Hornet Drive, get into left lane. Make left on College Town Drive. Proceed West to campus. Alumni Center is on the right just before the stadium.

From the East:
Proceed West on Hwy 50. Exit at Howe/Power Inn Road. Go straight at signal light onto College Town Drive. Proceed West to campus. Alumni Center is on the right just before the stadium.

Parking

Ample and convenient parking surrounds the Alumni Center. Daily parking permits can be purchased at kiosks surrounding the campus for $5.

Parking arrangments can be made for weekend events. Contact the Alumni Association for more information.

Sacramento State Alumni Center
Rental Rates

Capital Room	$125 per hour
½ Capital Room	$75 per hour
¼ Capital Room	$50 per hour
Saturday, Sundays & Holidays
Capital Room	$1,250
Events under 100 guests & Sundays	$900
Rentals
Dance Floor	$200 a day
LCD Projector	$150 a day
Lap Top	$75 a day
6' Projector Screen	$30 a day

 

Rental fees include: use of the allotted space, normal setup and breakdown of tables and chairs and coordination assistance with additional vendors for your event.

*Weekend and holiday pricing includes 8 hours of rental time.  Additional rental hours may be purchased for $125 per hour.  All events must end by 11:00pm, with the event space vacated by midnight, no exceptions.

Reservations

Reservations can be made 18 months in advance. Confirmation of space requires a deposit of 50% of the rental fee and a signed rental agreement.
